Make your own Turmeric Latte or Golden Milk!
Heard of Golden Milk? Or a Turmeric Latte?
100% caffeine free and loaded with anti inflammatory goodness, I love this earthy, warming and slightly spicy blend that just feels so soothing to drink. I made a quick cup to sip on today while I enjoyed 5 mins of sunshine outside - absolute bliss!

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
A couple of cracks of black pepper
1 Cup of milk of your choice - we love rice, oat, coconut or almond
1 teaspoon honey - optional
1 teaspoon Ahi Cider - optional (stir in just before serving)
Of course you can use fresh grated turmeric and ginger instead of powdered, But when you are in a hurry or want to whip it up quickly, powdered is still great!
Simply pop everything into a pot and warm on low heat while whisking away for a few minutes then pour into a mug, sip and enjoy.
The mixture of powders may start to collect at the bottom of your cup (depending on how fast you drink it!) so just give it a few stirs as you sip to avoid ending up with a thick mouthful of powder!
